Widget Filter.

Reminder · iPhone App

Recently, I added the ‘To Do(General Reminder) Filter’ to the app and updated each widget so that it can also function as a filter 🙌 For example, if you tap the ‘Today’ widget to open the app, it will change to ‘Today’. You can immediately see the filtered status.

There is a reference image below, so if you are curious about how to use the feature, please refer to it 🙏 For those who may be uncomfortable with this feature, I also added a switch to the ‘Preferences’ to turn off the function 😊

I named this feature ‘Widget Filter’, and I really like it. As a developer, I also use Reminder app every day, and I feel that ‘Widget Filter’ feature greatly improves the convenience of Reminder app.

I thought a lot about what to name the ‘Someday’ filter, which is a filter that displays ‘to-dos without notifications’. I originally set it as ‘Just to do’, but ultimately decided on ‘Someday’. I really like the name because it was a name that I thought about and refined for quite some time! I hope users like it too 🙏

In 2024, I will continue to repay you by developing together with users. Thank you for spending every day with Reminder app. I hope 2024 will be full of happy events. Happy New Year~! 🎊
