Minimo · iPhone Notes App

Hello there! 😊 Starting this Tuesday, I’ve been rolling out one new convenience feature update each day for Minimo! Even though I haven’t shared this news through a developer letter yet, many of you have already tried out the new features and even reported bugs—thank you so much 🙏 Your reports helped me fix the issues right away! 💪 I’ll keep making steady improvements together with you 👍

Here are the 10 latest updates 🙌

📌 Pin notes to the top

—> On iPhone or iPad, you can press and hold a note in the list to bring up the menu, or right-click on Mac, and then select “Pin to Top” to pin the note.

📌 Fixed the issue where using ’~’ would trigger strikethrough in notes

—> Thanks to multiple user reports and a bit of research, this issue has been resolved! Using ”~~” will now properly create strikethrough text.

📌 Added a convenient feature to quickly search notes only within the current folder

—> You can now tap the search button at the top of each folder’s note list to search only within the notes in that folder.

📌 Added drag & drop functionality to move notes between folders

—> In addition to the existing “Move to Folder” option, you can now drag and drop notes to move them. On iPad or Mac, you can also drag notes to the “Folder Navigator” button at the top left to move them into a folder.

📌 Added a shortcut key to make it easier to move selected notes in the Minimo 💻 🖥️ app
  • Move to note above: command(⌘) + ↑
  • Move to note below: command(⌘) + ↓
📌 Increased the spacing between folder and note sections for better visual separation
📌 Slightly increased the font size of the folder navigator text on Mac for better visibility and click usability
📌 Improved behavior so that locked notes aren’t auto-selected when launching the app on iPad and Mac
📌 Fixed an issue where the cursor didn’t automatically appear in the search input field on iPad and Mac
📌 Added a divider between folder and note areas when folder list is collapsed for improved usability
