Hello there! 😊 Thanks to all the great feedback from our Minimo app users recently, we’ve been having a blast improving the app 🙌

After the initial launch of Minimo at the end of February 2025, there were quite a few things I wasn’t satisfied with. So I spent the month of March quietly working on improvements solo, without much direction. But now, thanks to the kind and thoughtful input from many of you, the path forward has become much clearer. I’m truly grateful for your support 🙏

Here are 8 updates we’ve recently released 💪

📌 New Setting: ‘Default Mode When Editing Notes’

—> You can now go to ‘Preferences’ under ‘More’ to choose your preferred default mode when opening a note — either ‘Edit Mode’ or ‘Read Mode’. On iPhone, the default is ‘Read Mode’, while on iPad and Mac, it’s set to ‘Edit Mode’. Unlike iPhone, iPad and Mac offer a ‘Preview’ before opening a note, so we’ve made ‘Edit Mode’ the default to help you get started more smoothly. Of course, you’re free to set the default mode per device however you prefer 👍

📌 New ‘#’ Feature for Easier Title Input

How to Use ‘#’ to Input Titles

📌 Added Folder Move Function

—> On iPhone and iPad, long-press a folder in the list to access the ‘Move Folder’ option. On Mac, simply right-click.

📌 Added Alphabetical Sorting Based on First Line of Note Content

📌 On iPhone, recently edited notes are now highlighted in a different color in the list so you can quickly identify what you were working on

📌 Optimized for iPad Split View

📌 Improved Convenience When Searching Notes Within a Selected Folder
