“Copy Event” and “Search” Features 2nd Update News 📋✨

Hello! 🌈 The first update for the highly requested ‘Copy Event’ feature has been completed. Additionally, the second update for ‘Search’ functionality improvements has also been rolled out to make it even more convenient for you 💪

📌 Copy Event

You can now copy events, both Scheduler-native and linked events, to multiple dates by tapping the ‘Copy’ icon button at the top of the event Edit screen. Please note:

The copy feature is only available for single events, not repeat ones. For linked events, the feature is limited to the ‘Simple’ linked editor provided by the Scheduler app. This feature is exclusive to membership users. 🙏

The Copy Event feature is especially useful for users who need to register repetitive events like shift work. You can easily register work shifts by using the copy feature in the edit screen of your existing events 💪

Currently, this feature is only available in the Edit screen. However, in the future, I plan to introduce a drag-and-drop feature, allowing you to copy events directly on the calendar 📋

📌 Enhanced Search Keyword Visibility

To improve visibility, search keywords in the results are now displayed in bold with an underline for better clarity.

📌 Search Period Setting Feature

You can now set a specific period for your searches, enhancing precision and flexibility.

📌 Improved Wording

I’ve updated various texts throughout the app to make it even more user-friendly.

📌 Stability Enhancements

I’ve made internal design improvements to ensure the app runs more reliably.

In the last Developer’s Letter 📮, I mentioned it would likely be the final message for 2024. However, the new features were completed faster than expected 😂
