YoonSeul’s 3rd Anniversary: 8 New Updates Including ‘Unfold Memories from the Calendar 📆✨’

Hello there 😊🌸 The YoonSeul app, first launched in April 2022, is celebrating its 3rd anniversary! We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our users who have cherished their precious memories with YoonSeul over the years ✨

For a long time, we’ve been planning features that help you revisit the memories you’ve created in YoonSeul. One such feature is the newly added ‘Unfold Memories from the Calendar 📆✨’.

This feature is available as part of the membership and can be accessed by tapping the ‘second icon’ at the top right of the app. If you’ve been journaling with YoonSeul for a while, we hope this calendar view will offer unexpected moments of nostalgia and emotion 🙏

Alongside the ‘Unfold Memories from the Calendar’ feature, the following 7 updates have also been released:

📌 App size optimized for faster performance

📌 Improved background colors

📌 Two new keyboard shortcuts for iPad and Mac apps:

New Record: control + command + N
Add / Edit Record Done: command + S

📌 Moved ‘Record’ icon buttons to the top on iPad and Mac for easier access

📌 Removed rarely used camera feature

📌 Fixed slow loading issue on the record screen in Mac app

📌 Improved visual balance of the ‘Open Your Story’ and ‘More’ button icons

In addition to these updates, we spent quite some time rewriting the app’s code almost from scratch—as if we were creating a brand-new app. This was an essential step for an app that’s now over three years old 👍
