Recently, one of the Scheduler users left a thoughtful comment along with these truly encouraging words. Just like that message, I hope Dayte can become a small but meaningful app that brings real support to your daily life 🙏
Scheduler is a “small app,” but to me it’s already not a small app—it’s a big app that helps a lot in my everyday life.

Countdown · Only What You Need
In fact, the “Countdown” feature was something many Scheduler users had requested. As I carefully reread their feedback and researched the “Countdown” feature in depth, I realized it was far more complex than I initially thought. I felt that adding such a complex feature to the Scheduler app would make it difficult to maintain its current simplicity, so I decided to create a brand-new app instead 🦄
Since ‘Dayte’ is a “small app” specialized in managing “special days,” I put a lot of care into precise date calculations and thoughtful presentation. The biggest challenge while building Dayte was deciding how to categorize “special days.” After a long period of research, I organized them into the following three types:
📍 Countdown
📍 Recurring Countdown
📍 Since (Date Counter)
📍 Target dates, exam dates, and deadlines are “Countdown”
📍 Payday and wedding anniversaries are “Recurring Countdown”
📍 Couples and baby month counts are “Since(Date Counter)”
📍 Countdown Widget

I focused on making it intuitive and easy to use, and I truly hope you’ll like it 🌈
Just like the Scheduler app, Dayte has been released with only the essential features. I plan to continuously improve it based on your feedback 💪
